educational and entertaining.
All the resources for a full
and active life, along with
security and peace of mind,
are the rewards of living at
Wesley Manor. Each person is
important and receives individual
attention from a very caring
and dedicated staff.
Wesley Manor is much more than
a place to retire. There is
a warm, family atmosphere where
staff and residents alike work
together for the enjoyment of
all. This life style is accomplished
in many ways so that each individual
need can be fulfilled. Every
minute at Wesley Manor is filled
with something positive and
enriching.

Residents
stay involved in an array of
daily activities. A few options
include:
- Bingo
- Exercise
- Worship
Services, Devotions and Prayer
Meetings
- Bible
Studies
- Shopping
trips
- There
are also several other activities
scheduled throughout the month
including birthday parties
and a men’s breakfast.
At
Wesley Manor, the residents
always have an opportunity to
attend special activities throughout
the year, such as:
| Annual
trips to Bellingrath Gardens |
Grandparent’s
Day Celebration |
| Volunteer
luncheons |
Mardi
Gras Party |
| Trips
to the state capital |
New
Year's Eve Party |
| Leprechaun
hunts |
William
Carey Dinner Theatre |
Residents
also enjoy community involvement
through outreach. After making
several different types of arts
and crafts, residents give these
“happies” to facilities
such as Forrest General Hospital,
Wesley Medical Center and several
nursing and assisted living
homes in Hattiesburg. In August,
the residents raise money and
supplies through a banana split
social to aid a local elementary
school. Each December, an organization
is chosen for the residents
to sponsor.
Continuing
Education is always a go at
Wesley Manor. Health professionals
come the last Friday of the
month to speak on topics that
relate to the residents’
needs. Blood pressure checks
are also taken weekly for the
residents.
