Respect for aging is central to the Bible’s greatest teaching. Concern for elders is found in the most important episodes of both the Old and New Testaments. This is the theological base on which Mississippi Methodist Senior Services, Inc. has built its ministry.  We share this rich heritage with the Mississippi Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church, whose dreams led to our birth forty years ago.  Four decades later, we still share a mutual ministry with, and are related to, the Conference and we support conformity with the highest standards of care and operational integrity.

In accordance with Christian teaching and in the tradition of Methodism, Senior Services recognizes the contribution elders have made to family and community. We hold the wisdom and experience of elders in high esteem and do not forsake them in the time of older age.
